Step into a magical corner of the Mariposa Butterfly Festival where stories, creativity, and imagination come to life.

Monarch Grove is a special gathering place for children and families at the festival. Inspired by butterflies and the wonder of nature, this lively area invites young guests to slow down, listen to stories, create art, and experience the joy of imagination.

Throughout the weekend, families can gather for Storytime with Mari the Monarch, a beloved character who shares tales about butterflies, adventure, and the beauty of the natural world. There is no cost to enjoy the fun at Monarch Grove.  Our wonderful sponsor, Southland Industries has assured that 50 children at each StoryTime will go home with their very own copy of Mari the Monarch!

Between storytimes, children will also enjoy special storytelling visits from Miranda the Forest Fairy, whose whimsical stories bring the magic of the forest to life.
